                                                        Dyslexia In General

Dyslexia- Impaired ability to learn to read.

A Dyslexic person learns at his\her own level, and is better in one or more subjects.  Some of their problems include difficulties with concentration, perception, memory, verbal skills, abstract reasoning, hand-eye coordination, social adjustment (low self-esteem is a commonly seen as a behavioral problem), poor grades, and underachievement.           People with Dyslexia are thought to be lazy, rebellious, class clowns, unmotivated, misfits, or of low intelligence.

74% of the children who are poor readers in 3rd grade stay poor readers in the 9th grade. This means that they won’t be able to read that well as adults.
