| Norman Thomas Elementary is one of the few elementary schools with a
Band Program. Although they do not play instruments, the
students in this Band class study music and play recorders. This
class is used to prepare them for any future music classes or any music
aspirations. Our UIL teams have gone to district for at least
twenty-six years in a row. Students love the competition. Our
coaches work very hard and come in very early to coach their students.
Our UIL competition is very big and we take it very seriously.
This is the first year Norman Thomas Elementary has had a
Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO has held many fundraisers
to purchase items such as playground equipment.
