Buckaroo Pride
Buckaroo Pride
is something that is instilled way deep inside. If you
are not born with it, it is something that hits you when you are about
four or five. Still others acquire it later in life. Whether it is in the
classroom or on the playing field, Buckaroo Pride is giving 100% effort
100% of the time. Buckaroo Pride is singing the Alma Mater before every
game--or listening to the Buckaroo Fight Song as our team wins again.
Buckaroo Pride is that warm feeling you get just before every game.
Buckaroo Pride is having memories of the Buckaroo Prayer that reminded us
always to do our best. Buckaroo Pride is learned in the classrooms and
playgrounds--even in the church lots all over town.
Buckaroo Pride
is having memories of: Elkins, Garza, Perez, and Escobar--Smith, Acker,
Guajardo, and Garcia--McMichael, Adami, Procter, and Holcomb--Cowley,
Laredo, Espinoza, and Lichtenberger--Bromely, Thomas, Villarreal, and
Zuber--Vasquez, Moncada, Lackey, and Brown--Hart, Roberts, Anderson, and
Cantu--Hilliard, Hagel, Herrington, and Ford--Turner, Courtney, Loomis,
Carrillo, and Land--Hodge, Saenz, Vela, and Peņa--Moreno, Stacy, Marquez, Muņoz, and
Uribe--Serna, Upton, Sigle, and Walker--Aguilar, Fuentes, Salazar, and
Kelley--Pearl, Davis, Allen, and Wyrick--Grebe, Hinojosa, Abbott, and
Rodriguez--Cavazos, Newman, De Los Santos, and Vickers--Casas, Acevedo,
Gonzalez, and Haugen . . . .The list can go on forever and ever. These are
just a few of the great who wore their letter jackets with pride. So, the
next time you are at Buckaroo Stadium or any field of play, feel the magic
of the grandstand--as another victory comes our way.
Buckaroo Pride
is unique and will last forever--as each new year brings a new breed of
Buckaroos together.
